Responding to Communities
When the East Coast and parts of the Midwest were hit with an unprecedented blackout in August 2003, Nestlé Waters North America responded.
"The Ice Mountain bottling factory has donated 380,000 bottles of water. Those bottles of water are being picked up now from western Michigan and taken to the EOC in Wayne County through trucks that are being operated by the Department of Transportation and the National Guard. I just have to acknowledge the factory manager, Brendan O'Rourke, and the dock manager, Brad Gandy, who went out of their way to orchestrate this very generous donation."
