On choosing Nestlé Waters North America
"I chose Nestlé Waters North America because it was a growing company with lots of opportunities.
The people I met were friendly and extremely driven, which created a great working environment.
I hoped that if I was to start with a company with so much potential, that there would be more possibility
for personal and professional growth later on."
On the opportunities for growth
"Nestlé Waters North America has met my expectations in that it has allowed me to develop in areas I never would
have thought to. I started this company with an Engineering degree and a desire to do technical work. I am now in Finance,
despite the fact that I've never had any formal financial education. Not many companies would have given me the opportunity
to venture out into this area, but Nestlé Waters North America made this possible. "
"I truly appreciate the fact that they listened to where my interests lied, and helped me to make the jump.
I believe I am a stronger asset to the company from this additional learning. If you are willing to work hard and
be open to new possibilities, they will do everything they can to teach you the "total" business, especially by giving
you experience in areas outside of your normal comfort zone."
On a unique assignment
"I was part of a project team tasked with visiting several European factories and capturing best practices to bring back to the United States. It was a great experience to see operations in other parts of the world, and of course meet new people."
