The backbone of our delivery and distribution success relies on our fleet of more than 3,600 vehicles that transport our waters from our factories to distribution centers and directly to customers. Our teams of fleet professionals and mechanics ensure that vehicles continue to run smoothly and efficiently. In addition, they review shipment orders, verifying destination and load contents as well as perform various assignments in connection with the delivery of products. Below is a snapshot of a few of our key opportunities.
National Fleet Manager
National Fleet Managers are responsible for all aspects of fleet performance and service for Nestlé Waters North America, including developing national fleet strategies and tactics, and implementing them effectively in the field. In addition, they have responsibility for the performance and effectiveness of the national fleet team. National Fleet Managers partner with leadership in the field, as well as national leadership; they communicate with the Executive Team and leadership in the field about the status and progress of fleet initiatives; and they partner with functional leaders. Finally, National Fleet Managers have responsibility for overall fleet performance regarding to cost, services, and fleet capability.

Fleet Mechanic
Fleet Mechanics perform repairs and preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles and equipment including air and hydraulic systems, drive train components, and forklifts. In addition, they are responsible for fabricating and welding critical suspension and chassis components. Fleet Mechanics require a valid Class “A” driver’s license, welding experience, and T-4 ASE brake certification. Fleet mechanics must be able to meet all requirements based on the Department of Transportation to obtain a commercial drivers license.

Transport Driver
Transport Drivers perform various assignments in connection with product delivery. They perform vehicle pre-checks to ensure that the equipment is considered operable and safe, and maintain the official driver’s daily log book as required. They prepare daily vehicle condition reports indicating any repairs required, review shipment orders, verify destination and load contents and complete shipment orders as required in an accurate manner.
